The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has officially declared the results for the MH CET 3-Year LLB entrance examination 2025 on June 20, around 5 PM. The much-awaited results, earlier expected on June 17, were released on the official portals — cetcell.mahacet.org and portal.maharashtracet.org.

This year, a total of 94,506 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 74,621 appeared. All candidates who secured more than zero percentile in the test are considered qualified for the next phase of the admission process.

To check the result, candidates need to visit the official website and log in using their application ID or registration number along with their date of birth or password. Once logged in, they can click on the link for the 3-Year LLB Result or Scorecard, view their marks, and download the PDF for future reference.

The scorecard includes essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application ID, individual section scores, total marks obtained, percentile, and qualifying status. It’s important to save a copy of the scorecard, as it will be required during the upcoming counseling process.

This year, five candidates have achieved a perfect 100 percentile, marking an exceptional level of competition. In general, candidates who have scored above 90 marks out of 120 or achieved a 95+ percentile are considered to be in a strong position for admission to top law colleges in Maharashtra.

The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for the 3-Year LLB program is expected to begin in July 2025. Detailed schedules and instructions will be announced shortly on the CET Cell’s website. Candidates are advised to keep their documents ready, including their scorecard, CAP registration form, graduation and academic certificates, domicile proof, and other identification documents.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has officially announced the MHT CET 2025 results for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group on June 17, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam, conducted from April 9 to 17, can now access their scorecards on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. Out of 301,072 registered candidates, around 282,734 students actually appeared, marking an impressive participation rate of over 93%.

The MHT CET exam for the PCB group consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), held in online mode. It carried a total of 100 marks with no negative marking, making it a preferred option for students aiming for courses in pharmacy, agriculture, biotechnology, and other life sciences. This year saw 14 students achieving a perfect 100 percentile in the PCB stream. Notable performers include students from Mumbai, Pune, and Vidarbha. From Mumbai, Anshika Shah from Charni Road secured 163 out of 200 and was among the city’s four toppers. In Pune, Shreya Yadav and Siddhi Bade also earned 100 percentiles, while Snehal Diwate topped the ST category with a 99.97 percentile. From Vidarbha, Bhakti Men from Akola emerged as the region's only 100-percentiler. Interestingly, many of these toppers were also preparing for NEET and used MHT CET as a backup plan, yet their focused preparation, consistent study habits, and clarity of concepts led to excellent outcomes.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NEET 2025 result today, June 14, 2025, in the afternoon. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can now check their results on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Queen’s University Belfast today launched India Academic Excellence Award 2024 scholarship for students from India who will be commencing their full-time undergraduate studies at Queen’s University Belfast in September 2024.

Students can apply for this by June 7, 3 pm BST (7:30 pm IST). Interested candidates can apply at the official website 

The India Academic Excellence Award is exclusively available to students from schools in India.

Eligibility criteria

— Applicants must attend or have attended a school in India and be ordinarily resident in India.

— Students must have achieved an overall score of 85 per cent or above in their 12th Grade (CBSE or equivalent) examinations.

A total of 15 scholarships are available. The award offers a £7,500 reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study. The scholarship is awarded for the first year of study only and is deducted from gross tuition fees upon enrolment. Students must be self-funded and classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate with their domicile being India to be considered for the scholarships.

Online application is required for this award. Additionally, eligible candidates are required to submit an essay of up to 750 words explaining why they want to study at Queen’s University Belfast and how this programme will help them fulfil their career aspirations.

गट ब अराजपत्रित आणि गट क सेवांच्या पूर्व परीक्षांमध्येही सामान्य विज्ञान घटकाचा अभ्यासक्रम हाच होता. या दोन्ही सेवांसाठीच्या मागील वर्षांच्या प्रश्नपत्रिकांमध्ये या घटकावर विचारण्यात आलेल्या प्रश्नांचे विश्लेषण व त्या आधारे तयारी करताना लक्षात घ्यावयाचे मुद्दे मागील लेखामध्ये पाहिले. प्रत्यक्ष तयारी कशी करावी ते या लेखामध्ये पाहू.

या घटकावरील बहुविधानी प्रश्नांमध्येही काठीण्य पातळी ही मूलभूत अभ्यास झालेल्या उमेदवारांना कॉमन सेन्सने सोडविता येतील अशा प्रकारची आहे. हे लक्षात घेऊन तयारी कएल्यास अनावश्यक ताण दूर होऊन आत्मविश्वासाने तयारी करता येईल.

सर्व शाखांमधील शोध व शोधकर्ते वैज्ञानिक यांवरचे प्रश्न विचारण्यात आलेले आहेत. उपघटकनिहाय तयारी पुढीलप्रमाणे करता येईल:

भौतिक शास्त्र

बल, दाब, कार्य, ऊर्जा, शक्ती, उष्णता, तापमान, पदार्थाचे अवस्थांतर, मापन पद्धती (राशी व एकके) हे लहान घटक वस्तुनिष्ठ अभ्यासाठी सोपे ठरतात. या घटकांच्या नोट्स ढोबळ मुद्द्यांच्या स्वरुपात पुरेशा ठरतात.

प्रकाश, ध्वनी, भिंग, धाराविद्याुत, चुंबकत्व, गती व गतिविषयक समीकरणे हे मोठे व महत्त्वाचे घटक आहेत. यांवर मूलभूत संकल्पना आणि गणिते विचारली जाऊ शकतात. या सर्वच मुद्द्यांच्या तयारीसाठी संज्ञा आणि संकल्पनांचे आकलन महत्त्वाचे आहे.

आधी लहान घटकांमधील वस्तुनिष्ठ बाबी व त्यांच्या संकल्पना व्यवस्थित पाठ कराव्यात. त्यांचा मोठ्या घटकांचा अभ्यास करताना प्रत्येक वेळी उपयोग होतो.

महत्त्वाचे सिद्धांत व ते मांडणारे शास्त्रज्ञ यांचा टेबल तयार करावा.

रसायन शास्त्र

द्रव्य, त्यांचे स्वरूप व त्यांच्या अवस्था, मूलद्रव्ये आणि त्यांची वैशिष्ट्ये, अणूंची संरचना व त्याविषयी विविध शास्त्रज्ञांनी मांडलेले सिद्धांत, अणूंची मांडणी करण्यासाठी बनविलेली आवर्तसारणी व तिच्यामध्ये होत गेलेले बदल, आधुनिक आवर्तसारणी व तिची ठळक वैशिष्ट्ये, काही महत्त्वाच्या मूलद्रव्यांच्या संज्ञा, धातू, अधातू, धातू सदृश धातुके, संयुगे व त्यांची निर्मिती, कार्बनी व अकार्बनी संयुगे, आम्ल, आम्लारी व क्षार तसेच त्यांच्यामधील प्राथमिक अभिक्रिया, मिश्रण व त्यांची निर्मिती

या मुद्द्यांचा त्याच क्रमाने अभ्यास केल्यास त्यांच्यामध्ये असलेल्या परस्पर संबंधांमुळे विषय समजून घेणे आणि लक्षात राहणे सोपे होते. यासाठी राज्य पाठ्यपुस्तक मंडळाची विज्ञान विषयाची जुनी तसेच नवी पुस्तके जास्त उपयोगी ठरतील.

वनस्पती व प्राणिशास्त्र

● वर्गीकरणाच्या पद्धती व संबंधित शास्त्रज्ञ, विविध संच व विभाग व त्यातील प्राणी/वनस्पती व त्यांची वैशिष्ट्ये हा अभ्यास टेबलमध्ये करावा.

● अवयव संस्थांमधील वस्तुनिष्ठ बाबींवरच लक्ष द्यावे. प्रत्येक संस्थेवर किमान १० प्रश्न स्वत: तयार करावेत.

● विविध सूक्ष्मजीव, त्यांचे वर्गीकरण, महत्वाची वैशिष्ट्ये, त्यांपासून होणारे फायदे-तोटे यांचा एक टेबल करावा.

आरोग्यशास्त्र

यामध्ये पुढील मुद्द्यांच्या आधारे तक्ता बनवून अभ्यास केल्यास सगळ्या संबंधित गोष्टी लक्षात ठेवणे सोपे आणि सोयीचे होते.

स्थूल व सूक्ष्म पोषणद्रव्ये – कर्बोदके, प्रथिने, मेद, जीवनसत्वे, खनिज व क्षार या पोषणद्रव्यांपासून मिळणारी ऊर्जा, त्यांचे महत्त्वाचे घटक, स्राोत, या पोषक द्रव्यांचे सर्वसाधारण नाव, मानवी आरोग्यामध्ये महत्व, शरीरावरील त्यांचे परिणाम, कमतरता/ अभाव आणि आधिक्यामुळे निर्माण होणाऱ्या समस्या इ. मुद्द्यांच्या आधारे अभ्यास करावा.

रोगांचे प्रकार- जीवणूजन्य, विषाणूजन्य, कवकजन्य, आदिजीवजन्य, संसर्गजन्य, असंसर्गजन्य, लैंगिकदृष्ट्या पारेषित होणारे, अनुवंशिक आजार. या सर्व रोगांची लक्षणे, कारणीभूत घटक, स्राोत, प्रसाराचे माध्यम, बाधित होणारे अवयव, उपचार पद्धती.

राष्ट्रीय आंतरराष्ट्रीय पातळीवर एखादा रोग जास्त चर्चेमध्ये असेल तर त्याचे स्थान, प्रसार, उपचारासाठी केले जात असणारे प्रयत्न इ. चालू घडामोडींचा अभ्यास करणे आवश्यक आहे.

आयोगाने दिलेल्या अभ्यासक्रमामध्ये स्पष्टपणे नमूद न केलेला पण स्वतंत्रपणे विचारण्यात येणारा एक घटक आहे मानवी शरीर रचना शास्त्र. याबाबत सर्व अवयव संस्थांचा पुढील मुद्द्यांच्या आधारे व्यवस्थित आढावा घ्यायला हवा – अवयव संस्थेची रचना, समाविष्ट अवयव, अवयव संस्थेचे कार्य तसेच घटक अवयवांचे कार्य, संबंधित आजार इ.

या घटकाच्या पुढील मुद्द्यांची अद्यायावत माहिती असायला हवी.

● आरोग्य, पोषण, पर्यावरणाशी संबंधित शाश्वत विकास उद्दीष्टे आणि त्याबाबत भारतातील उपक्रम याबाबतचे WHO व इतर संघटनांचे निर्देशांक राष्ट्रीय आंतरराष्ट्रीय पातळीवर चर्चेत असलेला रोग, त्याचे उगम स्थान, प्रसार, उपचारासाठीचे प्रयत्न आरोग्य व पोषणाबाबतच्या केंद्र व राज्य शासनाच्या योजनांच्या महत्त्वाच्या तरतुदी

● विज्ञान क्षेत्रातील नवे शोध व चर्चेतील संशोधने

यंदा बारावीच्या परीक्षेत उत्तीर्ण झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये ७५ ते ९० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक गुण असणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या तुलनेने जास्त आहे. त्यामुळे पदवी अभ्यासक्रमाच्या प्रवेशातील चुरस वाढण्यास ते महत्त्वपूर्ण कारण ठरेल. शहरातील सर्वोत्तम महाविद्यालयांमध्ये पदवी अभ्यासक्रमासाठी प्रवेश हवा असेल, तर विद्यार्थ्यांचे गुणही तसेच सर्वोत्तम लागतील.

कौन्सिल फॉर द इंडियन स्कूल सर्टिफिकेट एक्झामिनेशन्स (सीआयएससीई), केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षण मंडळ (सीबीएसई) पाठोपाठ आता महाराष्ट्र राज्य माध्यमिक व उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षण मंडळाने घेतलेल्या बारावीच्या परीक्षेचा निकाल जाहीर झाला आहे. या परीक्षेत ७० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा जास्त गुण मिळविणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या जास्त आहे.

राज्य मंडळाने घेतलेल्या बारावीच्या परीक्षेत ९० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक गुण मिळविणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांची एकूण संख्या आठ हजार ७८२ आहे. तर, ७५ टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा जास्त गुण मिळविणारे एकूण एक लाख ९२ हजार ५५४ विद्यार्थी आहेत. यंदाही ९० टक्के किंवा त्यापेक्षा अधिक गुण असणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांनाच शहरातील नामांकित महाविद्यालयात पहिल्या यादीत प्रवेश मिळेल. पण तरीही ९० टक्क्यांपेक्षा जास्त गुण असणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये चांगलीच चुरस रंगण्याची शक्यता आहे.

प्रथम वर्ष पदवी अभ्यासक्रमाची वैशिष्ठ्ये

• विज्ञान शाखेत कॉम्प्युटर सायन्स, कॉम्प्युटर ॲप्लिकेशन, गणित, संख्याशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र, भौतिकशास्त्र याला पसंती

• व्यावसायिक आणि कौशल्यप्रधान अभ्यासक्रमांना महत्त्व

• इंटिग्रेटेड कोर्सेसला विद्यार्थ्यांकडून प्राधान्य

• बी. व्होक अभ्यासक्रमांना मिळणार पसंती

• वाणिज्य शाखेत वाढती मागणी, यांसह सीए, सीएस वाढती मागणी

• कला शाखेत मानसशास्त्रातून पदवी करण्याला पसंती

• ओपन अँड डिस्टन्स लर्निंगच्या माध्यमातून शिकणाऱ्या

• विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या वाढणार

टक्केवारीनिहाय विद्यार्थी संख्या

• ८,७८२ - ९० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• २८,७५३ - ८५ टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• ६०,१६५ - ८० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• ९४,८५४ - ७५ टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• १,२८,७७१ - ७० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• १,६०,२२७ - ६५ टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• २,०५,९५८ - ६० टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• ५,४८,४१० - ४५ टक्के आणि त्यापेक्षा अधिक

• १,५१,२१५ - ४५ टक्क्यांपेक्षा कमी गुण

शिक्षण महाग वाटणारे आणि चांगले गुण असणारे विद्यार्थी विद्यापीठाच्या ‘स्कूल ऑफ ओपन ॲण्ड डिस्टन्स लर्निंग’मध्ये नोकरी करता-करता शिक्षण घेण्याला प्राधान्य देतील. तर आर्थिक अडचण नसणारे आणि बारावीत विशेष श्रेणी, ९० टक्क्यांपेक्षा जास्त गुण मिळालेले बहुतेक विद्यार्थी पदवीसाठी व्यावसायिक आणि कौशल्यप्रधान अभ्यासक्रमाची निवड करतील. पारंपारिक पदवी अभ्यासक्रमाबरोबरच बी.व्होकेशनलचा पर्यायही विद्यार्थ्यांच्या पसंतीस उतरत आहे.
