NEET PG 2024 Exam City Allotment: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment details today, July 29, 2024. Candidates will be able to check their NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment details on their registered email IDs.
NEET PG 2024 will be conducted on August 11. Initially, the exam was planned for June 23, but it was postponed. The NEET PG 2024 admit card will be released on August 8, 2024.
“The test city so allocated shall be communicated to all concerned candidates through email on 29th July 2024 at their registered email IDs. The test centre venue in the test city allocated shall be intimated through admit card which shall be released on 8 th August 2024 at NBEMS website,” reads the notification.
Earlier, the NBEMS released a list of 185 cities where the exam will be conducted. Candidates were asked to select four preferred test cities. The board revealed that the test city allocation will be done randomly from the cities chosen by the candidates.
NBEMS stated that candidates may not receive a test center in their preferred cities due to overcapacity, logistical, administrative, or security reasons. In such cases, a test center will be allocated to one of the nearest available locations.
If no test center is available within the state of the candidate's correspondence address or nearby states, the applicant will be assigned a test center in any part of the country based on availability.
The NBEMS further stated that candidates who did not provide any test city preferences during the selection window will be allocated a test center anywhere in the country.
