Those who want admission to Class 6 and Class 9 at Sainik Schools have to apply for AISSEE 2025 at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE. The fee payment window will close tomorrow, January 14.

The AISSEE 2025 application fee is ₹800 for general, OBC-NCL, defence and ex-servicemen category candidates. For SC and ST category candidates, the exam fee is ₹650.

The test will be held offline using OMR sheets in 190 cities across India. The list of exam cities is available on the information bulletin.

NTA will announce the AISSEE exam date and admit card release date later.

AISSEE 2025: Eligibility criteria for Sainik school admission

Candidates who are 10-12 years of age on March 31, 2025, meaning those who were born between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2015 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for Class 6 admission.

Admission of female students in Class 9 is subject to the availability of seats, NTA said.

Applicants should have passed the Class 8 exam from a recognised school to appear for AISSEE 2025 for Class 9 admission.

For Class 6 admission, there will be 125 questions in the test paper from four topics – Language, Mathematics, Intelligence and General Knowledge – for 300 marks. In Language, Intelligence and General Knowledge, each question will carry two marks, and the total marks in these sections will be 50. In Mathematics, there will be 50 questions for 150 marks.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the Maharashtra Class 12 admit cards for the 2025 board exams. The Maharashtra board Class 12 admit cards can be accessed from the respective schools. And schools can download the same from the official website.

No separate fee should be charged from the students while printing the hall ticket online. Schools should take a printout of the said admit card and stamp it with the seal of the headmaster or principal. The admit cards of those applications which have received the status of “Paid” will be available through the “Paid Status Admit Card” option.

Union Public Service Commission has revised the UPSC Civil Services Personality Test 2024 date. The interview dates for Civil Services exam 2024 have been revised due to Delhi Assembly elections. The official notice can be checked by candidates on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

The personality test that was scheduled to be held on February 5 will now be held on February 8, 2025.

The official notice reads, “Due to notification of Delhi Assembly elections on 05.02.2025, the Personality Tests of Civil Services Exam 2024 scheduled on 05.02.2025 will now be held on Saturday, the 08 Feb 2025.”The personality test that was scheduled to be held on February 5 will now be held on February 8, 2025.

The Civil Services (Main) Examination personality test started on January 7 and will conclude on April 17, 2025. A total of 2845 candidates will appear for the interview round. The personality test will be held in two sessions—the reporting time of the morning session is 9 a.m., and the afternoon session is 1 p.m.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is one of the most challenging competitive exams in the country. The exam is the gateway for admission to engineering, architecture, and planning courses at prestigious institutions like IIITs, NITs. It is also the screening test for the IIT-JEE Advanced.

The JEE Main exam includes 75 questions for 300 marks, and the paper is divided across three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each subject consists of 3. Candidates get four marks for every correct answer, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect response. Questions left unattempted do not impact the score.

Questions from these topics often appear frequently in exams, providing a better opportunity to score higher. This approach also helps optimize your preparation time.

Mock tests play an important role in preparing for JEE Mains. They help familiarize you with the exam pattern, improve your speed, and identify weak areas. Attempt as many mock tests as possible (at least 7-8) and analyze your performance after each test to understand where you are losing marks due to negative marking. Focus on minimizing mistakes and enhancing accuracy by revisiting concepts you find challenging.

-Stay calm and composed-

Anxiety and panic during the exam can lead to hasty decisions and errors. Maintain a calm and composed mindset to think clearly and avoid unnecessary mistakes. Practice mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing, to manage stress during the exam.

If time permits, review your answers before submitting the paper. Double-check calculations and ensure you haven’t made careless errors. In an official notice, the NTA stated that multiple representations had been received requesting the postponement of the January 15 exam due to the major cultural celebrations. The agency clarified that only the exam on January 15 would be postponed, and the revised date will be announced in due course.

Aspirants are advised to keep an eye on official notifications for updates regarding the rescheduled exam. Meanwhile, the examination on January 16 will take place as planned.

NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 3: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated the schedule for NEET PG counselling round three. According to the revised timeline, the final seat allotment list will be released on January 18. The deadline for choice filling and locking for round three has been extended to January 16, until 8:00 AM.
The changes in the schedule follow a reduction in the percentile cut-off for NEET PG, allowing more candidates to participate in the counselling process. As per the notice, the choice-locking facility will be available from 8:00 AM on January 15 until 8:00 AM on January 16. The seat allotment processing will take place on January 16 and January 17.
Eligible candidates wishing to secure admission to postgraduate medical colleges based on the revised cut-off can register for round three by January 15. Reporting and joining at the allotted colleges must be completed between January 18 and January 25.

Important dates (revised) for NEET PG Counselling 2024 round 3

General and EWS category candidates scoring 15th percentile and above are eligible to participate in the counselling. For candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories, the revised eligibility cut-off is 10th percentile and above. Previously, the NEET PG cut-off percentile was set at the 50th percentile for unreserved categories, 45th percentile for PwD candidates, and 40th percentile for reserved categories.

JEE Mains 2025 Admit Card:  The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 city slip. The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be released next. The JEE Mains hall ticket 2025 is likely to be issued three days before the exam. Candidates will be able to check and download the JEE Mains 2025 admit card and JEE Mains city slip at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

In order to access the JEE Mains 2025 admit card, candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth on the portal.

The first session of JEE Main 2025 is scheduled from January 22 to January 30, 2025. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 in two shifts: the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) is set for January 30, 2025, with the exam timing from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.

Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam, which will be conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

UPSC CSE 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) delayed the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE 2024) personality test, which was planned for February 5, due to the 2025 Delhi Assembly election. A total of 48 applicants who were invited to the UPSC CSE interview on February 5 will now have to take the personality test on February 8.

The Delhi Assembly elections 2025 will be held in a single phase on February 5 with the results announced on February 8. Applicants should also be aware that there are no interviews scheduled for February 8.

UPSC CSE interviews have already begun. A total of 2,845 shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview on the given date between January 7 and April 17. Those given morning sessions must report at 9 a.m., while those allotted afternoon sessions must report at 1 p.m.

The UPSC CSE 2024 final results will be announced following the conclusion of the interview phase. The marks sheets of all applicants will be uploaded to the official website, upsc.gov.in, within 15 days of the announcement of the final results and will be accessible for 30 days.

“Due to notification of Delhi Assembly elections on 05.02.2025, the Personality Tests ofCivil Services Exam 2024 scheduled on 05.02.2025 will now be held on Saturday, the 08 Feb 2025,” the official notification read.

“The candidates appearing for Interview will be granted reimbursement towards travelling expenses for appearing in the Interview which will be restricted only to the Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express),” the commission further said.

AIMA MAT 2024 PBT 1 Registration: The All India Management Association (AIMA) will conclude the Aptitude Test (MAT) 2024 registration window for Paper Based Test (PBT) 1 today, December 7, 2024. Interested applicants who are still not registered can complete the AIMA MAT 2024 PBT registration form on the official website of AIMA MAT at mat.aima.in.

According to the timetable, the AIMA MAT PBT 1 exam 2024 will be held on December 14, and the AIMA MAT PBT 2024 admit card will be given on December 10.

Applications Open For DrNB Final Theory Exam December 2024

Application forms for the exam can be submitted from December 7 to December 27.

New Delhi:

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released a notification inviting applications  for the DrNB Final Theory Exam January 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of  the NBEMS to register for the exams. The application forms for the exam can be submitted from December 7 to December 27, 2024 by 11:55 pm. 
The examination is  scheduled for January 17, 18 and 19, 2025. The last date for submission of application for only practical exam is February 28, 2025. 

DrNB course is a doctoral level Super Specialty programme which can be joined after qualifying NEET-SS. The duration of the course for Post MD/MS/DNB candidates is for 3 years. Candidates after doing MBBS can also undergo a direct six years DrNB programme. NBEMS administers such direct six year DrNB courses in only four super specialty disciplines listed in Chapter – 3. The entry to direct 6 year Post MBBS DrNB programme is through NEET-PG which is also conducted by NBEMS. 

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences conduct DrNB Final examination usually in June and December every year.

The Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) on August 22 announced the first cut-off list for admission to BA programme and BCom courses. Candidates can check the DU NCWEB first cut-off list at du.ac.in for admission to programmes for 2024 academic session.

While the Delhi University NCWEB cut-off first list has been announced today, online admission against it will start tomorrow, August 23 at 10 am and will continue till 11.59 pm of August 25 at the respective teaching centres.

The DU NCWEB 2024 cut-off has been announced category-wise for students belonging to General, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories.

The cut-off for BCom programme touched 88 per cent in Miranda House against the first cut-off list issued on Thursday, while it is 87 per cent in Hansraj for the General category students. The cut-off for admission at Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College for BCom courses is the lowest, 60 per cent.

The DU cut off for admission to BA (prog) history + political science is the highest at Miranda House (88 per cent) followed by Hansraj College (87 per cent). The maximum cut-off for BA (Prog) economics and political science for the

general category candidates is at Miranda House (85 per cent).

The HSC and SSC supplementary exams were held in July. Students who could not get passing marks in the exam had appeared for the supplementary exam conducted by the examination board.

In the HSC examination, the overall pass percentage is 32.46 per cent with 60160 students registered for the exam. 59200 appeared and 19217 passed the Maharashtra HSC supplementary exams 2024. For Class 12, Sambhajinagar has the highest pass percentage of 47.95 per cent and lowest being of Mumbai with 25.52 per cent.

While for SSC examination, the overall pass percentage is 37.78 per cent with 31270 appeared and 11502 passed the exam. Nasik has the highest pass percentage with 50.34 per cent and the lowest pass percentage in division wise is of Mumbai with 27.76 per cent.

MSBSHSE Maharashtra HSC, SSC Supplementary Results 2024: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website— mahresult.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the result link given on the website

Step 3: Enter the credentials such as roll number and mother’s name

Step 4: View and download the results for future reference

The Class 10, 12 mark sheet mentions the marks scored by students in different subjects. Students must note that the scorecard will be provisional, hence, the students are required to collect the original mark sheet from their schools. The scorecard will mention the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, marks scored by them in different subjects, etc.

The MSBSHSE Class 12 exams were held between February 21 and March 19, 2024. As per the data shared by MSBSHSE, a total of 15,13,909 candidates have registered for the HSC examination in the state this year. It includes 8,21,450 boys and 6,92,424 girls. With 7,60,046 students, the science stream has the highest number of candidates registered for the HSC exam, this is followed by 3,81,982 students in the Arts stream and 3,29,905 candidates in the Commerce stream.

While for Class 10, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 95.81 per cent this year, which is 1.98 per cent more than last year’s passing percentage. This year, too, Konkan has emerged as the top performing region

with 99.01 per cent. A total of 1560154 students registered for their Maharashtra SSC exam, of which 1549326 appeared and 1484431 passed the exam. The pass percentage of girls is 97.21% and boys is 94.56%.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: Applications for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) for the 2025-26 academic year (Class 6) are underway. The deadline to apply will be September 16, 2024. Parents and guardians can submit applications for their children by visiting the official website at navodaya.gov.in.

Students currently enrolled in Class 5 for the 2023-24 academic year and who meet the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the admission process.

JNV Admissions 2025: Eligibility Criteria

- Must have completed Classes 3, 4, and 5 at a government, government-aided, or recognised school, and passed all three classes.

- Only one attempt is permitted for the JNVST entrance exam.

- Rural Quota (75 per cent of seats): Available to students who completed Classes 3, 4, and 5 at a government, government-aided, or recognised school in a rural district.

- Urban Quota (25 per cent of seats): Available to students who completed Classes 3, 4, and 5 at an urban government, government-aided, or recognised school.

JNV Admissions 2025: Selection Process

Admission to Class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) is solely merit-based, determined by the national-level Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). Designed and conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the JNVST evaluates students on mental ability, mathematics, and their regional language. The selection process is focused on identifying and nurturing talent, particularly from rural areas. A merit list is prepared based on the JNVST results, and the top 80 students from each district will be offered admission to the local JNV.

ICMAI CMA June Result 2024: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has issued the ICMAI CMA Result June 2024. The intermediate and final CMA results for the June 2024 term have been released. Applicants who took the exam can check their results on ICMAI's official website, icmai.in.

The ICMAI CMA June test for Intermediate and Final courses took place from June 11 to June 18, 2024. The final exam took place from 10 am to 1 pm and the Intermediate exam was done from 2 pm to 5 pm.

A total of 28,345 applicants took the Inter Group 1 exam, and 3135 passed. The passing percentage is 11.06%. For Group 2, 12,008 applicants appeared, with 3467 passing. The passing rate is 28.87%. Following the declaration of the above-mentioned results, 4,866 candidates finished the Institute's Intermediate Course.

Only 1243 of the 8643 applicants who took the final examination for Group 3 passed. The passing rate is 14.38%. There were 4530 students for Group IV, and 635 of them passed. The overall passing percentage is 14.02%. Following the declaration of the results listed above, 1,315 candidates completed the Institute's final course.

KEA KSET 2024 registration: The deadline for registering for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024 has been extended by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Applicants can now complete the KSET 2024 application by August 28 via the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, according to the official announcement.

On November 24, the KSET 2024 exam is expected to take place. The KSET 2024 exam, which covers 41 subjects, will be administered in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be two papers with multiple-choice questions on them for the test. There will be 50 questions in Paper 1, worth 100 marks, and 100 questions in Paper 2, worth 200 marks.

“As per the directions of the Karnataka Government, a detailed notification was issued on 13.07.2024 regarding the Karnataka State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test-2024 (KSET-2026). The last date for submission of applications was initially set as 22.08.2024. However, due to requests from some candidates to extend the deadline, the last date for submission of applications has been extended,” the official notice read.

KEA KSET 2024 registration: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: There is no upper age limit for KSET 2024.

Educational Qualification: Applicants who have passed a Master's degree or an equivalent exam from universities or other institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi in the subjects chosen for KSET and who have at least 55% of the marks in the general category and 50% of the marks for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Transgender, and Other Backward Classes (OBC), specifically Category-I, Category-IIA, Category-IIB, Category-IIIA, and Category-IIIB, are eligible.

KEA KSET 2024 registration: Application fees

A registration cost of Rs 1,000 must be paid by applicants in the general category, CAT-2A, CAT-2B, CAT-3A, CAT-3B, and other state categories; candidates in the CAT-1, SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories must pay Rs 700. The fee is now due on August 30 instead of the original date.
